ENTECH-REM Wesleyville Project
ENTECH-REM is proud to be part of the Renewable Energy initiatives in Ontario by bringing a state-of-the-art recycling and clean energy facility to Wesleyville, Port Hope. The proposed facility is designed to maximize recycling efforts by first recovering recyclable materials and converting the remaining residual waste into clean energy utilizing the ENTECH-WtGas-RES™ - Advanced Conversion Technology.
Currently, the project is in the Environmental Assessment Screening Process phase of development. A 23 acre site in the Industrial Employment area on the west side of Wesleyville Road is the proposed location of the facility. This site is approximately 1 KM south of HWY 401, providing short-haul transport of materials to the facility.
The new facility proposes to help attract economic stimulus to the area by providing local jobs during development and construction, operational jobs once the facility is completed and will help attract new energy related technologies and businesses to the area.
